Megadungeon Book Club 10: Castle Triskelion 7

I'm taking part in Studio 315b's Megadungeon Book Club! We're looking at Castle Triskelion by Tim Stypinski for the next couple weeks. Studio315b compiled the rest of the dungeon and we've been reading along with that.

Check out my post from last week here.

Inner Ward, 2nd Floor

More of the 1st floor of the Inner Ward. Loving the access to more resources for the players. Some of the rooms seem totally inaccessible except via the windows (how are the players going to get through a wizard-locked door of 16th level without just making a new door through an adjacent wall?), which I'm wondering whether or not is intentional. The lack of windows marked on the outside of both the Inner and Outer Wards as well as the offhanded remarks about where they're at and their size makes me think no, but I could be wrong.

Really feeling the theme-park design of Triskelion in this floor, in the MMO design sense. The rooms are interesting but seem fairly enclosed, minus a few interconnected complexes like the hag's rooms in the north-central part of the floor. I can't imagine play to vary too far from just walking down the hall, opening each door in turn, defeating the closet monster inside, examining the boxed text on the floor, then heading to the next. This problem can certainly be handled by GMs altering the play environment, making some factions or encounters be more active, etc; but it's not reflected in the text itself.
